African style and fashion is more than just patterns, prints and colors It is the simplest thing like scarf, or the most extravagant and most looked at part of the body, like your hair. African fashion is how you walk, your demeanor and aura, not only what you wear but how you wear it. Working an outfit can go  a long way depending on what you bring to an outfit. Can anyone disagree on that?

Designers involved in the last Africa Fashion Week in New York 2013 such as Henna Flower, Mesenga Designs, MABM Designs and many more put themselves into their designs and would agree that personality and style go hand in hand.  





In this day and age, people of all shapes, sizes, ages and personalities are embracing the African inspired looks with one article of clothing or an entire outfit.  What we want to know is… if you add a little African Inspired flare, how do you do it? What do you put to give it that flare? Do you use accessories, tops, bottoms, hairstyles? You have seen and read about stylists such as Gema Siveroni be inspired by African Fashion all the way in Madrid and now it’s your turn to do the same.
