In recent news, Christopher Burch’s new fashion line, C. Wonder, takes inspiration from many aspects of his life. Most notably: his ex-wife, Tory Burch, with whom he built a billion-dollar brand. This phenomenon of an “Inspirational fashion line” without notable credit is also evident on an international level, where European designers are going into Africa and obtaining “inspiration” from African trends and designs without giving proper credit.
Well, this July 12- 14, International designers are finally getting a voice and being able to showcase authentic luxury African Designs and show the world how it is really done.
