As Hurricane Sandy approaches, the more we need to prepare. Rain is said to constant in NYC for a few days and the most essential pieces to have are knee high rain boots or hard leather shoes and of course nice cozy knee length or longer coat. Johannesburg designers like Urban Goddess and Suzaan Heyns showcased their Fall/Winter 2012 collection this past summer at South Africa Fashion Week in time for the season. We advise you to not get caught in this weather. But, if you must weather the storm, as a brave fashionista, please utilize caution, and dress accordingly. Stay safe and do it with style.
