Ronke Ladipo, the model turned designer behind the fashion label Rouch is quickly gaining fame for her Nigerian inspired designs. At a very young age, Ladipo has already shown her collection at AFWNY 2011, seen her fashion on countless red carpets, worked as a fashion editor, TV, and radio personality, and is still looking for more. Her inspiration comes from her grandfather who used ankara fabric to make her beautiful dresses as a child. We are sure her grandfather would be proud to see Rouch gracing the cover of the entertainment and fashion supplement of The Guardian, Lagos, which focuses on providing a platform for young role models to spread their influence and good ideas. Many of The Guardian’scover features have gone on to heightened fame and success winning many awards and we look forward to seeing much of that in Ladipo’s future.
