New York, NY<\/strong> \u2013 June 2012- House of Marie will showcase Saturday, July 14th<\/sup> at Africa Fashion Week in New York (AFWNY). AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adir\u00e9e, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th<\/sup>, 13th<\/sup>, 14th in New York City\u2019s financial District.<\/p>\n

Joan Ibuzo, Fashion Designer, Entrepreneur, and the brainchild behind House of Marie is a driven designer whose passion has always been fashion.<\/p>\n

House of Marie has a wide range collection of clothing for various occasions, from casual daily wear to exotic, high end designs for classy women who wish to add glam to their wardrobe. House of Marie boasts and operates a female full High-end apparel line and a low-end clearance offshoot to satisfy a larger clientele.<\/p>\n

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and others will showcase.<\/p>\n

Joan Ibuzo officially launched House of Marie in Spring 2009. It is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading fashion design houses, with a store and distribution center in the United States. Joan studied Economics at University of Sokoto and graduated with honors and also attended and acquired an Entrepreneurial Management Certificate from the Lagos Business School of the Pan African University before becoming a huge player in the building of many Fashion\/Production related companies one to note is SilverBird Productions now one of the very few power houses with fashion and events in Nigeria.
