New York City, USA (March 18, 2013) – On the 17th of April, 2013, Pikolinos will be holding a Gala Dinner at the United Nations Delegates Dining Room in New York. The Gala will feature an exhibition of pictures by artist Johannes Huebl, and presentation of the Pikolinos Social Committed Honor to Jeannette Chang for her cooperation to ADCAM and BBALP Project. The Gala Dinner will benefit the Maasai African Tribe through 2 amazing Non-Profit Organizations who cooperate in the Maasai Project. The organizations include the Association for Development, Alternative Trade and Microcredits (ADCAM) and The Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project (BBALP). The Gala will feature guests like the President and founder of Pikolinos Juan Peran, founder of BBALP Bisila Bokoko, President of ADCAM Rosa Escandell, Pikolinos Maasai Project Ambassador Olivia Palermo and so many other invited dignitaries. MC of the Gala will be veteran Beauty Journalist and Editor Tai Beauchamp. The Delegates Dining Room is located on First Avenue at 46th Street, New York.

New York City, USA (March 17, 2013) – On the 16th of April, 2013, Pikolinos will be opening a fantastic pop-up store in
2_landing_popupNew York. The store will feature different collection of shoes embroidered in Kenya by the Maasai women and made in Spain. Pikolinos are a top quality brand that creates unique shoes by developing products with innovative designs and of outstanding quality. The star-studded evening will feature guests from the whole Peran family, Juan Peran the founder of Pikolinos, Juan Manuel Peran the Vice President of Pikolinos, leader of the Maasai Tribe William Kikanae, President ADCAM Rosa Escandell, Global Ambassador for Pikolinos Bisila Bokoko, Maasai Project Ambassador Olivia Palermo, and many more invited guests. Host for the evening will be Celebrity Activist Africa Engo. The Grand Opening of the pop-up store will start from 6pm and will be on till around 8pm. Guests are advised to start coming early so that we can all celebrate and witness the opening together. The store will be functioning for 3 months after which Pikolinos will decide what next is to be done with it.
