Summer Fashion Trends Combine Ghanaian Prints with Western Silhouettes Afritali Leaves Her Print in New York’s Africa Fashion Week
New York, NY – June 4 2012- Afritali will showcase Saturday, July 14th at Africa Fashion Week in New York (AFWNY) . AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th, 13th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.
The Ghana born designer Josephine Todd embraces her African origin
and American life; thus, Afritali designs blend the rich

Afritali, meaning African clothing in Ghanaian dialect, empowers modern woman with its unique aesthetics. Much of the brand’s clothes can be customized.
AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and others will showcase.
About Josephine Todd:
Josephine was born in Ghana and moved to the United States in 1995. Passion for both the African and American cultures was the driven force and major inspiration for Afritali’s design.
